Misi's Display Chain is Stripes

The striped angel is one of my favorites, she hangs above a red cupboard right inside my future grandson room.

I love this doll  holding the star, she sit on a reproducton  buggy seat in the hallway.

Rag balls, my favorite, I love the red stripe against one of my oldest stepback cabinets.

These striped overalls are going to look real cute in Olivers new room.

This is the corner of Olivers room to be, I made the rabbit last summer, love his striped pants, I bought the night shirt, thought it would look good in here.  The large fellow I bought, it originally had a dress on, I could see him in a nightshirt and his night hat.  Can't wait to finish this room up.

I found this fabric in Tenn. and just stacked in on top of a pie safe I have in my bedroom.

I have just added the red stripe curtains in the bedroom, the prairie doll has a striped  dress on.

This is the new striped pillowcases I have added to my williamsburg quilt I have.  I got tied of the matching pillow shams that came with the quilt. I love the blues and reds together.

This is at the end of the bed, the stack of boxes have that blue stripe on them, these are sitting on a red blanket box.

The rabbit has his striped back pouch full of a small rabbit and a crow, he is going on a trip.

One of my favorite things I have collected is the stump dolls, love the blue strip on this one.

Another prairied doll with her black and tan dress on, she is sitting in my new dining room arrangement.  More pictures to come on my new dining and living room redo.

I just love this rabbit picture with the quilt square behind him.

This old piece of blue striped fabric is one of my favorites I love to display.

A windsor chair I had gotten from my aunt has a throw and farmhouse pillow on it, this is part of my new living room arrangement.  Well at first I thought I didn't have any stripes, but the more I looked the more I found.  I think stripes add a lot to a room, think I will be on the look out for more as I decorate.  Vicky

Recently Aquired is Misi's Display Chain

I love these amish dolls I purchased from early country antiques.

This is in front of an outbuilding where I have a small flower bed.  This year I wanted to add more to the front of it.  The potting shed sign I had gotten at the Rusty Relic, the blue eggs are from  Mabel and Edgars Early Goods, and the bird house is from Country Heart where I was shop hopping saturday.  I am going to be adding old long black shutters also here.

Saturday while shop hopping I picked up a few items for my garden.  The birdhouse I found at Country Heart and the tweety bird and bee skep I found at Nanbrook Farm.  They just add so much to a garden.

I just love this shelf, it is just so primitive.  I picked it up at Nanbrook Farm, I have not had a chance to hang it yet, need to rearrange a few things in the kitchen.

A couple of more items found at Nanbrook Farm is the rabbit, I just thought she was so neat.  And I picked up the cotton exchange sign their also.  This is a wall in my sewing room.  The cabinet is where I store all my fabrics, I had found it at Country Heart a while back.

And of course I had to pick up more fabric.  Like I needed any more.  I found these really nice blues, which they are hard to find at Nanbrook Farm.  I had also recently bought 18 yds. of different civil war reproduction fabric, we are not going to talk about how much I had to pay for that, I didn't get a picture, I had already sorted and put them away.
Don't these look good enough to eat?  I found these muffins and the apple butter sign at that new shop I visited The Rusty Relic.  I just found the little old rolling pin at a local antique mall one day when I ran in with Ann while she was down here helping me with the booth.

My friend Justine, over at Mycronynme Primitives actually made the little sheep, aren't they adorable?  She really did a great job.  And the little shoes I had just received from her also.  She has some really neat things on her website.

I just love this pillow I found at The Rusty Relic, it is just what it says on it, just simple, but makes a nice statement.

This is another one I picked up there, looks great in my primitive kitchen.

I love samplers, always on the hunt for them.  I found this one at Nanbrook Farm at her spring open house.

I think this was my favorite find at Nanbrook Farm saturday.  I just love the goat pulling the cart with the turnip.  Will look great during the spring and summer season.  May have to put some pumpkins in the cart for the fall.  Don't think I will be putting him up.

I love dolls, guess I didn't get enough of playing with them when I was growing up.  These clothespin dolls were just adorable, had to have them when I was at Nanbrook Farm.

I have been working on my bedroom forever, this long wall drives me nuts, but I think I am getting close to putting up what I love.  I found the apron and the checked bonnet over at Nanbrook Farm saturday.  I also purchased new curtains and pillowcases, shower curtain and tobacco curtains.  Well that was about all I have found lately, hope you enjoyed looking at the primitive items as much as I had fun buying them.  Vicky

NanBrook Farms Spring Open House

These are a few pictures of the garden off the porch area of the 200 yr. old log cabin that Amy has her shop in.

I loved the fountain, it was so relaxing just listening to it.

Great container for pansies.

The sign says it all, love the eggs in the wagon.

They had just added the shelf above the window, just love this idea.  She had added some other shelves above the doors also.  Just love the groupings of primitives here.

The large rabbit was just adorable with his basket of flowers, looks like he is out for a spin on a spring day.

Side view of the very large rabbit.  Also I loved the mushrooms she had tucked in around him.

This room is in the back of the cabin, wait until you see what is on the other side of the room.
This is what was on the other side of the room.  How did they get that in here?  It was jus breath taking seeing all those spring flowers in that old  primitive wagon.

Isn't  she just too cute,  she just adds so much to the spring feeling at the cabin.

More bunnies, and of course some eggs.

This was one of my favorite rabbits, he is sitting in a cart with his bucket of flowers.

Rabbit with the blue eggs.

A better view of the rabbit in the cart, this is just as you come in the door.  Nice spring display to greet you.  Well that was the tour of Amy's shop at Nanbrook Farm, it was well worth the drive to spend time in the country on that spring day.  Stop by soon, you will enjoy meeting Amy and seeing this shop in an old log cabin and outback is the old school house you can also go in and step back into time of days gone by.  Will be posting pictures of all the goodies I have gotten lately  on Misi's display chain on tuesday.  Spring blessings,  Vicky

Shop Hop at Country Heart

The bunnies are everywhere, just love them.

The frog in the left hand corner was just too cute.

I love this table arrangement.  Something about the red flowers and the blue bunny print that just looks great together.

Just a breath of spring colors, ready for your home decorating.

I love this desk, would be perfect for all my seed catalogs.

Nice little cubby, love the doll.

More pictures of Ann's shop, love the towels.

Love this wall, the new cabinet she just brought in and the black shelf, my favorites anything you can put stuff on.

Love this green jelly cupboard.

The colors of springtime, green and white. Just love the little totes.

Love the goose sitting in the middle of the table.  She adds the perfect spring touch.  Handmades add so much to a home.

This was just too cute, the chick in the bucket.

More spring displays to delight the eye.  Ann has done a great job in the many spring items she has arranged in her shop.  It's like walking into springtime.  Hope you enjoyed visiting Ann, stop by and visit if you are in the area.  Vicky
